This piece is inspired by the new groves of trees that crop up after a fire and the hope of new life.
The painting is part of an exploration of adding new textures to my work inspired by storied, weathered pottery. The size makes it perfect for shelf styling, pairing with other painting, a kitchen or as part of a gallery wall. I’ve also loved seeing people style art on a display easel like this one.
