The first weekend home after a few away, I grabbed my easel and drove to the creek down the road from where we live. The warmth of the July afternoon posed the invite to kick off my shoes and set up right in the middle of the creek. This river landscape was painted over the cool rushing water on bare feet and dappled sunlight filtering through the Rhododendron blossoms.
